IBM Ring 63 is the Greenville, SC affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. We are a local magic club that has been fostering the Art of Magic in the Upstate since 1948. The Ring offers many outstanding benefits, but among the most important are your opportunities to grow in magic and to have fun with others who love the art. Whether you're a professional magician or a weekend hobbyist, an intrigued college student, an avid collector, or a brand new beginner — if you love magic, you're among friends.
Members of our Ring come from Greenville, the Upstate and Western North Carolina. They are from all walks of life and of all ages (from youth members to senior citizens.) Although most are serious magic hobbyists we do have several full-time magicians in our membership. Ring members regularly perform for family and friends and many are regularly booked to do performances for parties, civic clubs and businesses. Persons interested in furthering their magic interests must first join the IBM then present an initiation performance for the Ring to be considered for membership.
is the world's largest magic club dedicated to the art of magic, with members in 88 countries. Since 1922, our official publication, The Linking Ring, has linked magicians throughout the world. Hundreds of local branches of the I.B.M., or Rings, meet each month. Local affiliates are called “Rings” to both signify the circle of friendship and fellowship magic organizations offer and is a reference to a ring as a part of one of the oldest tricks in magic – the Chinese Linking Rings.
You are invited to join us, connect with others, and explore the future of magic by becoming a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
